Sarah Weir Senior MBACP/UKRCP/UKPTS

I am a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association of Psychotherapists and I have been practising as a psychotherapist for over fourteen years. I am a qualified trauma therapist, a member of the UK Psychological Trauma Association and I have worked with a wide range of traumatic situations.

I am the Co-Ordinator of the Kingston Post Natal Counselling Service, a service that provides one to one support for mothers and their partners during pregnancy and after birth. I have worked with many mothers over the past five years with diverse issues that include: Post Natal Depression and anxiety and birth trauma.

My consulting rooms are in central Kingston and I usually have appointments available during the day and in the evening. I am aware of the difficulty of finding childcare when your baby is little and you are welcome to bring your baby to the session.

You are welcome to come for an initial consultation to explore whether counselling/psychotherapy would be helpful for you.

Sheila Marston MBACP

Sheila Marston MBACP
Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am a qualified and experienced trauma therapist and counsellor, based at The Cottage Therapy Centre in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

My aim in counselling is to create a therapeutic relationship in which the client feels safe enough to explore and express their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged. I work with the client at their pace, to help them discover a way forward and bring about any desired change.

Initially I trained as a person centred counsellor and this approach is still at the heart my way of working. However as my practice has developed I have become more integrative and now combine cognitive behavioural and EMDR into my practice. This enables me to meet the individual needs of each client and also offer evidence based therapy in line with the NICE guidelines.

I adhere to the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and treat all information disclosed as strictly confidential.
