The Birth Trauma Association (BTA) today called on mums across the country to give their views and share their experiences of birth trauma as a first ever parliamentary inquiry on the issue was launched.
Anna Williamson presents BTA’s new training videos for health professionals
We’ve launched three new videos to train midwives, obstetricians, health visitors, GPs and other health professionals about birth trauma. The videos are presented by BTA’s celebrity ambassador, E4’s Anna Williamson.

The theme of 2019’s Birth Trauma Awareness Week was relationships, and how hard it can be to rebuild trust in relationships with friends, family and health professionals after a traumatic birth.
Our first Birth Trauma Awareness Week
Our first Birth Trauma Awareness Week took place in 2017, between 14–21 August – and attracted widespread media attention for the campaign.
