BTA is recruiting for its Peer Support Programme

We are currently going through a phase of major expansion to increase the support we can offer to women, as well as continuing to raise awareness of birth trauma and participate in research and campaigning to reduce the incidence of birth trauma.

We are recruiting for new volunteers for our Peer Support Programmes. Peer support happens when people use their shared experiences to help and support one another. In 2017 we will be rolling out our Peer Support Groups and Peer Support Phoneline. We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in working with us on these programmes. You don't have to be a trained counsellor, therapist, healthcare professional etc - peer supporters are simply mums who have been there, and feel they are able to offer support and help to other mums. No previous experience is necessary, and we will provide full training and support. If you are interested, and would like to have an informal chat about any of these opportunities please drop an to our Volunteer Manager This email address is being protected from spambots.
